Just a few of our many positive reviews

Never been to a camp site that has been so clean

This camp site is situated just off the main road and is quiet and very quaint. There are two footpaths - one leading to the village pub and the other to the pub on the main road. We have never been to a camp site that has been so clean! Not to put other sites down but this is exceptional! There is a campers kitchen fitted with cooker, microwave fridge and laundry facilities. Stonehenge is only a 5 minute drive away.

Great campsite, location and staff

The welcome here is fantastic. Liane and Dave are excellent wardens. I was also impressed by William's (and Barney's) rapport with the children. The facilities provided are just what is required on a campsite and the little extras like the kettle and electric toaster exceed the expected. I was so happy here that I extended my visit from 3 days to 8. I recommend the Bell Inn in Winterbourne Stoke which serves delicious food and the farm shop in Berwick St James both a short walk away.

A great first experience

After buying a motorhome this was the first trip away. Met by the friendly warden who watched me reverse successfully onto the pitch. Shown the facilities which were super. The ladies loos and showers were, as the website said, excellent. Obviously men's were not inspected. Site very well set out with privacy but friendliness. Went for a dog walk, well signposted and well labelled foliage. I know the area but I can see how it would be great for walkers. Thanks for the helpful map. Will be back.

The perfect campsite

Just home from a weekend staying at the site. Extremely clean facilities! Very impressed and would recommend to anyone. I will be back to visit very soon. Definitely one of the best sites I have stayed at!
