Nice rural campsite. Lovely surroundings. Easy 10 minute walk to the nearest pub. Make sure you take a torch for any night time trips to the loo. Fire pits can be hired and plenty of logs purchased for a lovely firelit evening. Nearby takeaways are happy to deliver if you don't fancy cooking. Reception have plenty of menus. We went for Chinese which was nice and delivered really quickly.
Such a lovely secluded spot, friendly helpful staff. Clean toilets, showers and lots of helpful facilities. Love the Hobbit & Lord of the Rings theme.
Fantastic helpful staff, lovely site with great facilities! Unfortunately due to tent problem we were unable to stay at the site, but the staff went above and beyond to find us other accommodation in area. They also offered to defer our booking to another date of our choicing. We will be returning soon. Thank you to all the staff on site.
Nice little camping spot. Clean toilets etc. I did end up walking through another pitch looking for the way back from the toilets early morning. Pitches are quite small but adequate for a short stay.
Well kept, clean facilities and relaxed atmosphere. Loved our stay here.
Nice place to camp. By this time quite empty and very friendly staff. The shop has all that i need for one evening.
Fine. Decent location. Too strict with dogs (must be on lead even on pitch). Rude lady working there, no sense of customer service. Likes to shout across the campsite to try and enforce the rules rather than talk privately and with any sense of decency.
Very friendly site with helpful managers to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful countryside with lots of interesting places to visit within a 20 mile radius. Good local pub within walking distance. Pizza night and Thai food available to purchase onsite were delicious. An eclectic mix of tents, campers, caravans and a variety of people from all over the globe. Very clean toilet facilities but could do with more showers if staying for longer periods. We stayed for a week, had great weather and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Such a welcoming place. Staff are lovely and helpful. Facilities are lovely, well maintained, and with extra little touches like the Campers Kitchen, they've made my first holiday as a single mum of a toddler a lot easier. Already thinking about booking again for next year.
We are just returned from a 3 night stay at Stonehenge campsite. The site is excellent - well maintained, with clean facilities. We stayed in the butterfly pod, which was cosy, secluded and peaceful. The staff are on hand and very helpful, even accommodating our early departure. Will definitely come again and recommend you to our friends.
