Stonehenge Campsite is a popular award winning campsite due to its excellent location, good We now get 3,000+ website visits per month ( Over 150/day! ) and the site has attracted visitors from over 101 countries from all over the world including Australia, NZ, USA, Canada, Japan, Brazil, Argentina and Europe during the last year. In total we had over 30,000 website visitors in the last 12 months Updated 14 February 2012   We have 15 Beautiful Mixed pitches for Motorhomes, VW Campervans, Caravans, Wooden Pods ( Coming 2012) & Tents & 8 EHUsWe always have space midweek- so just do £10 - £50 book on line
Our heated shower & WC block is basic & clean, there is one gents & one ladies shower, 3 sinks and 6 WCs at present. We have 2 hot washing up sinks for dishes.
Owners Notes Some consider our show block a bit basic. We do not have wifi or good TV reception at present ( Coming 2012) and there is some noise from the A303 if the wind is from NW. We do not have laundry facilities at present
Future Plans We are hiring in a Ladies Shower Block. Digital TV comes in 2012 and we hope to get BT to sort the wifi by March 2012 We plan to build a new purpose built eco friendly shower block in 2013 or 2014 and . So 2012 & 2013 could be a great year!
CAMPFIRE & RALLY FIELD
We also welcome visitors with TENTS on our 2 acre Campfire field & 1 Acre Meadow Field. Which is Open from 19 March to 30 September
Both fields have lots of space and you will not be crammed in like sardines Both fields have electric hook ups, water and and seperate WC/shower facilities.
The Campfire & Meadow Fields are part of our 9 Acre smallholding where we have horses, Jacob sheep (and lambs in the summer) and 6 Chickens. We allow small campfires as above for a small charge and supply firewood if required
The 2 Acre Rally field has level Grass Pitches Facilities include:- 9 Elec Hook-ups, 2 Water
 We welcome mature and well behaved small and large groups
There are excellent Footpaths & Bridleways , tracks and Byways close by leading to excellent Mountain Biking on Salisbury Plain, in the Till Valley and over parts of Druids Lodge Estate ( Local 10,000 acre estate ),
Infact you can walk or bike off road to Stonehenge (5 Miles) or into Salisbury (9 Miles) without going near a main road ( You cross 2 ).
Stonehenge Campsite site is ideal as a weekend touring base for Stonehenge, Longleat, Wilton, Salisbury Cathedral, Bath and local attractions and is very popular. You need to book at all times - Weekends, Half Terms & Bank Holidays.
There are 8 excellent pubs within walking distance - 2 are within a short level 5 min walk - The Boot Inn @ Berwick St James and The Bell Inn @ Winterbourne Stoke. Both serve good quality homemade food and ale and have open log fires.
