Our Festival is the one and only. We hold an annual 4 day Camping & Food Beer & Cider festival at our campsite from 18 June until 22 June.It always sells out & has a waiting list so book early. We are the closest site to Stonehenge being only 3.2 Miles by road ( A303) and 5.3 Mile walking and we are the only dedicated Stonehenge Summer Solstice Festival that allows camping on mass with campfire and food festival for the Solstice

We have a beautiful 9 acre smallholding and we have three fields for campers. Two will be a quiet areas for rest, relaxation and sleeping and the Campfire field will be a more social area with large communal campfire ( Sits 40+ ) and informal social area around the campfire ( Singers are encouraged so please bring your musical instruments, etc etc )

Healthy & Safety Statement - 29 June 2012
Please bring a torch & head lights so you can see in the night( & eat your carrots) and rain coat & boots incase of rain We have done a risk assesment of the site in particular for, Campers, Staff, Fire, Electricity ( Elec Cert in place), Water ( Mains), Pollution, Insurance & First Aid. Measures are in place for all of the Risks agreed with H&S following their inspection. Please contact William Grant the site Safety officer for any futher information
Safety off site All Campers are to act and drink responsibly particularly near the Campfire & Electricity points for their own & others safty. Staff will be patroling for any unsafe activities!. We have 100% safety record over the last 3 years- please help us to keep it.
Shuttle Bus Transport We organise a 29 seater shuttle bus to run campers up to the Stones between 10pm - 1am and back between 4am-8.30am Cost FREE Included in ticket
Walking It will take you about 2 hours to walk 5miles in daylight or 3 hours in the dark. Please do not walk up A303. its not safe! and there is a much nicer 5 mile walk across country or even better take our private Shutte Bus
Taxi Charge to Stones one way range from £15 for 4/5 people ie £3-4/head. These can be pre booked from our Campsite. Call Value Cars on 01722 50 50 50 to book or Google/Yellow pages for other Taxi firms
Drive You can drive and park at the Solstice car park (3miles/10mins), but it can be very difficult getting in and out at peak times as over 30,000 visit the event - and there can be grid lock between 7am - 9.30am
Booking Please note I have saved 20 space for past Campers from 2009- 2012 but they must have paid deposit by no later 31 December

SUMMER SOLSTICE INFORMATION ( Provided by EH)- 2012
English Heritage provide Managed Open Access to Stonehenge for the summer solstice each year. There will be casual entertainment from drummers, samba bands and the like but no amplified music is allowed. When you visit Stonehenge for the solstice, please remember it is a sacred place to many and should be respected.
URGENT Please note Sunrise @ Stonehenge is at around 4.52am Thursday 21 June 2012
Rules include no camping ( Nearest site is Stonehenge Campsite), no dogs, no fires or fireworks, no glass bottles, no large bags or rucksacks, and no climbing on the stones. Please use the bags given free on arrival and take them out, filled with your litter, to the skips provided. Please respect the rules so that we're all able to enjoy the solstice morning at Stonehenge for years to come.

A high volume of traffic is anticipated in the Stonehenge area on the evening of Monday 20th June.
Where possible, please travel to Stonehenge using public transport. The local bus company, Wilts & Dorset, will be running a service from Salisbury railway and bus stations to Stonehenge over the Solstice period. This bus service will commence at 1830 hours (6.30pm) on Monday 20th June and run regularly until 0115 hours (1.15am) on Tuesday 21st June. A service taking people back to Salisbury will start again at 0400 hours (4am) and run frequently until 0945 hours (9.45am). Access to Stonehenge from the bus drop off point is through the National Trust farmland.

Health & Safety Policy Updated 21 May 2012 Your safety and that of your family and fellow campers during our 2012 Solstice Festival are very important to us - please ensure you and your fellow campers take every precaution to prevent accidents and help us to ensure we maintain our excellent 100% safety record. Please report any dangerous activity
1. 6 Metre Rule - Ensure all units are 6 metres apart ( 3m for groups)
2. Speed Limit 5mph - Drive slowely and safely when on site - 5 mph maximum please
3. Roads - Please take care when entering the A303 & B3083 from the campsite
3. Campfires - All tents must be a minimum of 6 metres away - allowed in the Campfire Field only.
4. Kites - are allowed in Campfire field only. They are not in Meadow field due to power lines
5. Electricity Certificate - We have a 16 amp supply which is tested annualy
6. Fire Certificate - Our Fire fighting equipment is tested annually
7. Fire Risk assesment - Produced September 2011 & updated 6 monthly
8. Livestock - Please take care around horses and cows and wash your hands before eating
