Green Policy :We are very green & eco friendly and have just been awarded a David We have also installed a 16 Solar Panels ( 4KV system - The very 1st campsite in Wiltshire ) so we are now producing ( 15-20 Units/day) of our own power during the day & we are using (14-120 units/day) so we are producing between 15%-90% of our power depending on the sun, how many campers are in & most importantly we are helping to reduce our carbon footprint Green Awards We are hoping to go higher on both in 2013 & plan to enter other competitions - with your help! You can walk to Stonehenge X Country on footpaths & tracks (Only 5.3 Miles /about 2 Hour walk) away from roads. Summer Solstice Camping & Tent Rally - 18 -22 June 2013

We hold a 4 day Summer Solstice Camping Festival & Rally between the 18-22 June 2013
@ Only £20/head/night which includes showers, WCs, water, a large central fire pit (seats 40) & Shuttle bus to & back from stones (Please note minimum 2 night stay i.e. £40) We have 10 Electric (EHU) points @ £5/night.
Returners from 2009, 2010,2011 & 2012 will get first call on space! Just pay your £40 deposit /pitch online.
Pre-Booking is essential - Bookings start in July and we will be fully booked by March ( 3 Months early) We have a limit of 115 (100 tents in the Rally Fields & 15 VW Campervans on the Campsite).
We take a fixed non returnable £40 deposit/pitch please pay online with name, telephone, dates, approx number of people & tents required. The balance to be paid by 21 May 2013 on line NEW for 2013! Next year we will also have an even bigger and better & More Yoga Workshops.

Tent Touring Base - Stonehenge, Longleat, Bath & Wiltshire
 The campsite is an ideal touring base for Stonehenge, Longleat, Bath, Wilton, Salisbury Cathedral, Avebury, Devizes, Tidworth, Bulford & local attractions in Wiltshire and the New Forest. It is one of the nearest campsites to Longleat Safari Park, Longleat House & Center ParcsStonehenge Campsite is a very popular site and it is best to book if you need or want Hardstandings or EHUs
Eating & Drinking - 8 Pub Challenge!
 There are at least 8 excellent pubs within walking distance - 2 are a short level 5/10 minute walk of Stonehenge Campsite via footpaths - The Boot Inn @ Berwick St James, Salisbury, Wiltshire (See photo) - this is a dog friendly pub but dose not do food on Monday nights)& The Bell Inn @ Winterbourne Stoke, Wiltshire. Dose food all day long but dogs have to stay outside There are then at least 6 other excellent pubs & inns within a 2-5 mile walk including The Pelican Inn @ Stapleford (2 miles), The Royal Oak, George @ Shrewton (2 miles), The Rainbow on the Lake @ Steeple Langford (3 miles), The Swan Inn @ Stoford (4 miles) and The Royal Oak @ Great Wishford (4.5 miles) and Bridge Inn @ Upper Woodford (5 miles).
All serve good quality home cooked food & ale and some have skittle allies or pool tables.

Berwick Farm Shop - we have a fantastic local farm shop (0.6 mile walk on footpath) that sells every thing you could possibly need for your camping trip. There is also a mini market in Stapleford (2 miles South) and a large Co Op Supermarket in Amesbury (6 Miles East).
We also sell a small quantity of homegrown Free Range Eggs from my son, George's, beautiful white amber light hen and can source most requests from Berwick Farm Shop in the village (see above) or the butcher in Shrewton.
Outstanding Walks, Dog Walking, Bird watching, Fishing & Golf
You can walk directly on to the main local footpath. There are outstanding Mountain Biking trails on Salisbury Plain, in Grovely Woods and in the Till Valley & Wylye Valley as well. There are very
For conservation & wildlife enthusiasts there is a Nature Reserve @ Cherry Lodge just 1 mile walk ( or drive) to the north on Salisbury Plain. The area is full of wildlife with barn owls, deer, rabbits, hares & pheasants having been seen on the campsite. The smallholding also has jacob sheep, chickens and horses.
Fishing & Golf. The local fishing is excellent. There is plenty of Course Lake and Chalk stream fishing. Golf driving ranges (x2) & golf courses (x3) all within 5-15 minute drive.

1. 6 Metre Rule - Ensure all units are 6 metres apart ( 3m for groups)
2. Speed Limit 5mph - Drive slowely and safely when on site - 5 mph maximum please
3. Roads - Please take care when entering the A303 & B3083 from the campsite
3. Campfires - All tents must be a minimum of 6 metres away - allowed in the Campfire Field only.
4. Kites - are allowed in Campfire field only. They are not in Meadow field due to power lines
5. Electricity Certificate - We have a 16 amp supply which is tested annualy
6. Fire Certificate - Our Fire fighting equipment is tested annually
7. Fire Risk assesment - Produced September 2011 & updated 6 monthly ( 1 October 2012)
8. Livestock - Please take care around horses and cows and wash your hands before eating
